PRIVACY POLICY — OUR MONEY

Last Updated: July 6, 2026 Our Money ("the app," "we," "us") is a receipt-scanning and price-intelligence app published by Meuz Atelier Ltd. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. It is written to match exactly how the app actually works. ## No account, no sign-in Our Money is **anonymous**. You do **not** create an account, and we do **not** collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact or identity information to use the app. There is no login. ## What the app handles, and why **Receipt images and their contents.** When you scan a receipt (or import a PDF), the image is uploaded to our backend and processed by an AI service to read the text — the merchant, items, and prices. This is what lets the app organize your spending and compare prices. Some processing may also happen on your device. **Purchase data (prices you paid).** The merchant, items, and prices extracted from your receipts are used to build your spending view and price history. **Community deals (anonymized).** To power "deals near you," anonymized product names, prices, and the approximate store location from scanned receipts are contributed to a shared community pool. These contributions are **not tied to your identity** (there is no account), and they automatically expire after a short period (about 7 days). **Location.** With your permission, the app uses your location to show the distance to nearby deals and, for Insider subscribers, to alert you when you are near a recorded deal. Location is optional — the app works without it, and you can turn it off at any time in iOS Settings. **Subscription data.** If you subscribe to Insider, your purchase is processed by Apple and managed through our subscriptions provider (RevenueCat), which assigns an anonymous identifier to track your subscription entitlement. We do not receive your payment card details. **Currency rates.** To display prices in your chosen currency, the app requests exchange rates from a public rates service. No personal data is sent for this. We do **not** use your data for advertising or tracking, and we do **not** sell your data. ## Third parties that process data - **Supabase** — our backend: stores receipt data and the anonymized community deals pool. - **Google (Gemini)** — reads the text from your receipt images. - **RevenueCat** — manages your Insider subscription and entitlement. - **Apple (iCloud)** — see "Your iCloud" below; and Apple processes in-app purchases. - **Public currency-rates service** — currency conversion only (no personal data). ## Your iCloud (your own copy) Your receipts are stored on your device and backed up/synced to **your own private iCloud account** (via Apple's iCloud/CloudKit) so they survive a reinstall or move to a new Apple device. This data lives in your Apple account and is controlled by you. ## Retention and deletion - **Delete anytime.** Deleting a receipt in the app removes it — and it stays deleted, including from your iCloud backup. - **Community contributions** are anonymized and automatically expire (about 7 days), so they are not retained long-term or linked back to you. - For any other request, contact us (below). ## Security Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). ## Children Our Money is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. ## Changes We may update this policy; we will post the new version here with an updated effective date. ## Contact Questions or requests: **support@mmm.place**
